Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a method of in-vitro fertilisation.
Embryologists employ highly delicate micro-manipulation instruments to directly inject a single sperm into an egg under the microscope to facilitate fertilisation. In this procedure, fertilisation is achieved without relying on the natural interaction of the sperm and egg.
This method is suitable for couples with sperm-related problems or those who have tried other treatment methods without successful fertilisation.
Conventional IVF
The collected eggs will be placed in a laboratory culture dish along with processed sperms for fertilisation, similar to the process of natural conception.
